Carnivorous Plants

They Lure Insects Into Death Traps With Their Fatal Attraction

Carnivorous plants are known for obtaining most of their nutrient needs from trapping and consuming insects and protozoan species, flourishing in environments where the soil is thin or poor in conditions for roots to establish. They are found on all continents in the world except for Antarctica, as well as on many islands within the Pacific Ocean. We recommend they are kept in moist but continuously drained soil to provide optimal conditions for their well-being. Some species require a dormancy period to avoid exhausting the plant. They are fascinating plants, but we highly recommend you do your research into them before investing into one.
